So, I've been tagged !! (thanks Sam! )
Here are some things you may or may not know about me.....

~My dad nicknamed me MopHead when I was little and still calls me 'Mop' for short. (It's not too tough to figure out why, although I have employed an awesome hair dresser to try and help!)
~I don't like to do things 1/2 way. It is the perfectionist inside me, and I get it from my mother, who is amazing at everything she does. This is why I can't and haven't started scrapbooking, it is so overwhelming and I will want it to be perfect.
~I hate saying "Goodbye". Whether it is a friend moving away, the end of a TV series (yup cried at the end of Friends) or at a funeral, I have the hardest time! I want everything to last forever, even flowers!
~I hoard everything! Again a trait I learned from my parents, (mostly my Dad). I keep receipts, every single thank you, birthday card, or invitation to something, I keep clothes, jewelry, and shoes way too long, and the bags and boxes I purchased them in! I even keep the tags for the clothes! My closest friends and family probably have pulled a tag off of something I am wearing at one point in my life. I know it is crazy but I have a hard time throwing things away. Maybe it stems back to the whole parting/saying goodbye thing?
~I love vacations! (Who doesn't) But really, take me anywhere! I could vacation all the time. Preston wonders why I don't like being at home, but it isn't that I don't like it, I just love seeing new places, and going back to places I've been, and seeing my favorite spots. I want to go to Europe desperately, and I love to go back to Lake Powell, and San Diego-especially La Jolla.
~I have always thought I would do a little bit of several different careers including, be a nurse, clothing/wedding dress designer, famous singer or dancer, own a floral shop and boutique, be a interior designer, and a wedding planner. And I should open an Ice Cream shop because I love it! I don't know how I thought I would have time for all that! It doesn't even include being a mom!
~I love weddings. I think they are magical. There is something about them that is sweet and refreshing. I love to see the colors chosen, location, dresses, flowers, everything. Because I am obsessed I am starting a wedding planning business, and am putting a portfolio together of the events I have already done.
~My biggest fear has always been earthquakes. Sometimes I will stop and think, "what if there was an earthquake right now, what would I do? " And I always try and plot my escape route, or I think of where I would hurry and get under. I don't know what I would do if I lived in a place like Los Angeles.
~I believe in ghosts. If I am home alone and it is really quiet and I hear the house creak, I always think it is a ghost walking around. I try and think of what ghost might be visiting me. When we first moved in to our house I woke up every night, terrified that there were ghosts all over the place because I wasn't use to the noises the house made. Preston of course slept like a log.
~ I believe in conspiracy theories. Whether it is the government, or someone we know, Preston always tells me to stop with the conspiracy theories because I come up with one about everything. I should have a little more faith!

~I love to shop. I do it when I am sad, depressed, stressed out, or happy! Even if I know I won't buy something I love to just look. Preston is complete opposite. If he goes shopping he knows what he needs, has it written down, goes directly to that isle, then checks out and is done. He hates that I look at everything. Some (because I have soooo many) of my favorite stores are: Nordstrom, Jcrew, & Target. I have just started getting into online shopping which I have found can be dangerous to our bank account.

~Favorite TV shows:
1- Greys Anatomy
2- The Office
3- So You Think You Can Dance
(runners up... 24, Lost, and I hate to admit it but The Hills)

~Favorite thing to do at home:
1- Take Addie our dog to the park right next to our house. It is just a little common area that is completely fenced. The minute she sees we are going there she'll make a beeline for it. She will sprint to one end of the park and run all the way around the edge then come back to us. She loves it. I love to go there during the sunset, it has a great view, you can see the Jordan Temple from it.
2- Cuddle up with Preston and watch one of our favorite shows (my favorite shows are his favorite too, although he won't admit it, he will tear up during Greys Anatomy too!)
3- Be with Preston- whether it is having dinner, reading together, or chasing each other around our kitchen island, he is my favorite part about being home.

Here is Preston and what he says he knows about me...

Wow, my first blog appearance! I would just like to thank all the people who have helped me get to this point in my life. Netscape for really launching the Internet revolution. Mr. Bill Gates: if he hadn't created this operating system none of this ever would have happened. And for all the millions of people out there who layed fiber optic cable, I couldn't have done it without you. Anyway, less about me and more about the reason we are all here tonight, Ledah. What can I say? Or maybe a better question, what will I get in trouble for saying? Lets discuss some of the things you may or may not know about Ledah.

There is a game I play with her that she doesn't even know about. It's called, "when did Ledah get to work?" Usually Ledah's day begins at 8:15-8:30 sharp. Since she isn't really a morning person the struggle starts at 7:30 with a series of alarm clock snoozes. But once she is up all "heck" breaks loose, clothes all over the bed begging to be picked for the days apparel. Curling Irons, Blow Dryers, Flatters, and other hair accessories all over the sink ready to do their jobs. Towels for body and hair on the floor and the always panicked thought of, "Did Preston do a load of laundry?" Yes people, I do laundry, lots of it. Once she makes the mad dash to arrive at 9am, it usually turns out to be 9:15-30am. I then come home from work in the afternoon to see exactly how late she really was. If there is more than one bathroom accessory left out I add 5 min to here destination time (9am). I move to the bedroom to see how many outfits are on the bed. If there are 2 or more I add another 5 min. If all the lights are on, yes another 5. Now this is the real kicker, if she forgets to lock the doors there is additional 10 minutes. This system I have developed is 95% accurate. And ultimately has made it tons of fun to play detective upon arriving from work. But in all seriousness her are a few little snippets from the life of Ledah.

-Ledah loves her weekends, there always has to be something fun planned. And if she has been extra nice there is usually french toast, eggs and her favorite juice waiting for her to wake up.
-Ledah has a secret crush on Harry Potter, Josh Groban, and that McDreamy guy from that show I claim to not watch.
-Ledah drives a Hummer, I don't. (I am very jealous)

-I usually have a few people tell me how well put together my wife is every time they see her.
-Ledah loves Rome more than me, actually she wants to travel there more than anything. I keep telling her to be patient and one day we will make it.
-Ledah is the ultimate party planner, I've seen her put together work events without batting an eyelash. And they are all amazing!

-Ledah can drive the car while eating a bowl of cereal, doing her makeup, reading a magazine and talking on the phone.

-Ledah loves to decorate, she personally designed and decorated her whole office on a very limited budget.

-Ledah is the ultimate friend, she will go out of her way to help in any situation. And she is fiercely loyal.

-Ledah thinks she can travel anywhere in the valley in 5 minutes. -Ledah thinks I'm a "Grandpa Driver", and hates it when I only go 5 miles in hour over the speed limit.

-Ledah is SO smart, she effectively can accomplish anything she puts her mind to. Once she is invested in a project you can count that it will get done with a 110% effort.

-Ledah sometimes travels to a place called "Ledah Land", this is what we call her happy place. I asked her one time what was in Ledah Land. She responded there was water a rainbow and lots of 4 wheelers and boats. (For those of you that know her, she can be seen traveling to this place when her head tilts up and she gazes intensely into the clouds)

-Ledah has one nervous habit, she scratches her tongue on the back of her throat. I think this is what triggers a one way ticket to Ledah Land.

-Ledah is an awesome wake boarder, snowboarder, and gun shooter.

-Ledah is obsessed with Ice Cream, stopping to get it even when we are late to go somewhere.

-Ledah still hasn't changed her name on her Social Security Card. Yes it has been 3 years. (at least she doesn't have Jeremy & Danika beat though!)

-Ledah is kind enough to save me a very small section to sleep in on our bed.

-Ledah can't fit all her clothes in our closet, some have to be dirty, ready to fold or taken to the dry cleaners.

-Ledah sings like she is on American Idol but is very horrible. (I still love it)
-I sometimes call ledah "my little Pedro", you can ask her why only when you see her in person!

So at this point you may know me a little better than you wanted to.Sorry for the novel/biography!
But this is where I will tag a few other people of which all need to update their blog!

Yes if I go down I'll bring you with me!!
